and is available for the
following platforms (currently without SSL/TLS):
Linux/x86 (glibc 2.x, X11R6)
w3bview-linux.tgz (about 270 KB)
MS-Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP
w3bview-win32.zip (about 300 KB)
MS-Windows CE 3.0 (Pocket PC 2002, StrongARM)
w3bview-wince.zip (about 250 KB)
The system requirements of all packages are very modest: Only about one megabyte of disk space is at most needed for an installation and about four to six megabytes of main memory are required to run an application. Furthermore, only (very) basic system libraries and no advanced features of them are ever used.
The installation of a package is very simple: Just unpack the corresponding software archive within an arbitrary directory by the help of an appropriate program. This usually causes a subdirectory (contained in the archive and named by the application) to be created, which contains all relevant files. Finally, if needed, transfer the unpacked subdirectory to the target computer. That's all.
