Application Windows

The application windows that are described in this chapter are used for a number of quite different purposes. These include simple progression displays, the presentation of potentially large lists, a small window for entering URLs and retrieving documents, and a general viewer window for displaying all sorts of hypertext. Many application windows are created by various dialogs, but some windows may also be opened by the use of menues or when following hyperlinks of any kind.
