The view menu is a context-dependent pop-up
menu of a viewer window and
provides a list of currently useful actions. This menu may be invoked in
various ways: By the help of the button labelled Menu
that is located directly above the main subwindow, by the keyboard shortcut
^KM, or by using the mouse and performing either a double
click at two different locations or a single click with the
right button, both within the main subwindow. Many (other) actions are also
available as keyboard shortcuts, or
by making use of the two additional buttons labelled View
and Edit
that are located directly above the
main subwindow.
A list of all possible entries together with a keyboard shortcut (if available) is given in the following, but note that many entries of the menu are only present when the cursor is being positioned on certain kinds of elements such as hyperlinks or input elements, or when other conditions are being met such as that the local history is not empty:
